Scaffolding: Concept Review (Team 12)
Team 12 Concepts Game 1: Bloxorz Bloxorz is a basic game that many people played in elementary school, and we felt it was appropriate to work on for this project. The object of the game is to navigate a 2-block tall rectangular prism along a platform course. And to complete each level, you must rotate and orient the block so that it can fit inside a 1x1 hole. The game is simple, so it is very feasible that this game can be played with an alternative controller. Game 2: Mortal Cage Fighter Mortal Cage Fighter, besides being a Mortal Kombat knock-off, is what we ended up choosing after deliberating what we could do in regards to a fighting game. It has some similarities in terms of the fundamental mechanics, like having some special attacks when a combination of buttons is pressed. We feel that being able to make an alternative controller for a fighting game would be quite unique, and with a simplified version like this one, it is definitely possible. Here are our questions: 1.
